PRABHAT YOGASHRAM - YOGA and NATUROPATHY HOSPITAL was founded by Guruji Atanu Maharaj ( Dr Tanu Haldar), an eminent spiritual leader and Yoga Guru, in 1981in maheshpur and later in South Baluchar, Malda district.
Initially it started operating as a Yoga, Naturopathy and Physiotherapy Clinic under a Non Govermental Organization MALDA PRABHAT SANGHA and was known as Prabhat Yogashram. In 2018, A new Hospital building with a capacity of 50 beds was set up in Prabhat Nagar, Chatian More, Sahapur, Malda and the name changed to PRABHAT YOGASHRAM - YOGA & NATUROPATHY HOSPITAL.
Patients with chronic diseases, tired of continuous medication, saw a new lifeline in the hospital and devoted approach to naturopathy. For a patient, benefit was instant and palpable. Within no time the devotion, discipline and principles of PYYNH started getting spread by mouth through sharing of experience amongst the patients.
From the very first days of establishment PYYNH is working for the society under the guidance of the Malda Prabhat Sangha. Every Year PYYNH organises free Yoga and Naturopathy Treatment camps, awarness camps, Charitable works like free books and pens distribution among children of slums area, cultural programs in national days like Independence day, Republic Day, Rabindra Jayanti, Netaji Jayanti , National Yoga day, Yoga Competition etc.
At present PYYNH is a full fledged running hospital with all kind of modern facilities. There is Yoga Therapy unit, Hydrotherapy unit, Massage therapy unit, Chromo Therapy unit, Accupressure unit, Accupuncture unit, Chiropractic or Manual Therapy unit, Physiotherapy unit, Gym etc..
In 2021, Malda Prabhat Sangha has got a permission to conduct Registered Yoga and Naturopathy Trainee ( 1 year Course) affiliated to West Bengal Council of Yoga And Naturopathy, under Department of Ayush, Govt of Ayush at the Hospital Premises.
In near future PYYNH will be a role model of drugless therapy in India and abroad. The main motto of PYYNH is to make awarness among the general public about the abuse of drug and back to Nature.
